The Work
This was produced to accompany the Loop installation at the Shop Front, Margate in 2019. Loop, curated by Jo Murray was a journey in memory and myth along the circular lay line created by the Isle of Thanet’s orbital bus route. As well as Jo Murray and Jon Spencer, the show featured Dominic Rose and Tanya Royer.
One of Jon's pieces was a film which reappropriated found videos from bus enthusiasts, adding the lyrics to the soundtrack in the form of a karaoke video. This poster features a sequence of stills from the film.
